What is the best location for your family photo shoot near Apex, NC?
With so many beautiful parks in the Triangle area, it can be hard to narrow down the best location for your family photo session.
Before each session, I send out a questionnaire that will help us to narrow down the best spot for your photos.
The location is going to depend on your proximity to the surrounding cities and towns, the vibe you would like your to portray in your family photos and whether you are scheduling summer, fall, winter or spring family photos.
Between Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay, Cary, Raleigh, Durham, Pittsboro, Chapel Hill and beyond we have many beautiful locations for photoshoots in the area. Below I am sharing a few of my favorite spots with some photos I have taken at each one.
North Carolina Museum of Art - Raleigh, NC
This location offers beautiful light, a huge variety of bridges, greenery and interesting structures for your family, maternity or couple photoshoot. This location changes seasonally but is great for fall family photos as well as winter, spring and summer photos.
2. Sugg Farm - Holly Springs, NC
This location offers beautiful light. Pretty greenery, an open field and a long fence.
3. WRAL Gardens - Raleigh, NC
Beautiful garden, walkways, benches and open field.
4. Apex Nature Park - Apex, NC
A photo session at Apex Nature Park will feature walkways, bridges, trees and a stream.
5. Jordan Lake - Apex, NC
A photo session at Jordan Lake in Apex, NC will feature water, trees and grassy fields. The foliage is great in the fall.
